This page costs us $2.47 to write.
We built Rufus to give developers visibility into AI costs without invading their privacy. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what we will never do with it.
Data Collection
What We Collect
Account data
When you sign up, we store your email address and an authentication token. That is all we need to identify your account and keep it secure.
Usage metadata
The Rufus CLI sends lightweight telemetry: token counts, model names, timestamps, and estimated costs. This is the data that powers your dashboard.
We do not collect your prompts, your code, or your file names. Ever.
